Hockey Field Construction
Macmillan Academy appointed CLS Sports for the installation of their new full size, FIH standard hockey facility. The pitch was commissioned as the academy required a top end facility that could be used in all conditions.
The facility is built upon a 40mm Macadam layer and 15mm insitu performance shockpad. The red and blue two tone carpet design was selected by the academy as they were keen to produce a facility that stood out and achieved the highest standards.
During school time the pitch hosts curriculum hockey, however on an evening and weekends it is rented out by several local hockey clubs due to the FIH National Certified Field standard.
